Our Nutritional Counseling Services
In addition to other services, we offer individualized nutritional counseling services. We would be happy to customize a nutritional counseling program for your particular needs. Please contact us for details. In the meantime, here are some general guidelines.
Recommendations for Better Health:
- Drink plenty of water every day.
- Eat a healthy diet.
- Eat at least one large green salad every day.
- Get fiber into your diet. Eat 1-2 cups of cooked whole grains every day. Don’t forget to eat fruit.
- Do not eat bread products. Any starchy carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, potatoes, bagels, crackers, muffins, etc. will constipate you - even whole-wheat products.
- STAY AWAY FROM DAIRY PRODUCTS.
- NO CAFFEINE! This includes decaffeinated coffee and chocolate of all kinds. These are some of the worst things you can put into your body, so try to eliminate them altogether. Caffeine robs your body of calcium.
- Try to juice fresh veggies at least 3 times per week.
- Supplements may be helpful. You can take charcoal capsules if you are gassy.
- EXERCISE! Do some form of cardiovascular exercise at least 3-4 times per-week. This helps all of your bodily functions, including metabolism, and gives you an overall good feeling. So get moving!
